Twenty Years
It’s been twenty years of never forgetting…
It’s been twenty years of “before 9-11” and “on 9-11” and “after 9-11.”
Today, and always, we honor the heroes who fell.
Today, and always, we remember the families who are still missing their loved ones.
And for many of us, we are still affected by, processing, and living the lengthy twenty years aftermath of the events of 9-11.
Take some time to never forget today:
— plant a tree in memory of the fallen
— donate to first responders
— fly an American flag outside your home (and if you don’t have one, buy one and begin flying it daily!)
— follow the 20th anniversary commemoration details here
— watch one of the many 20th anniversary documentaries
— look through photos of 9-11 published online
— light a candle in memory of the fallen
— thank a hero who serves today
— remember the fallen and their families on social media
— pray for the souls of the fallen and healing for their families
— create a piece of artwork to memorialize the day
— do one thing, in honor of the ones who cannot, that any one of them might enjoy doing: taking a walk, having a nice meal, hugging your loved ones, and leaving a phone message for someone you miss
We do this, and everything, remembering the fallen of 9-11.
9-11. It has been 20 years, and still, we never forget!
